The absolute worst thing you can do on a day like this is to starve yourself all day long because you're afraid to eat in advance of a holiday meal. If you do, your blood sugar will be so low, you'll be starving, and you'll eat too much too soon and make very bad choices. You know the holiday is coming up in just a few weeks, so whether you're on a weight loss journey or on stabilization or maintenance, be laser-focused. Strive for a perfect day every day, so that by Thanksgiving Day you're in a good place, down another few pounds, and feeling good. Then, even if things are a little beyond your control on Thanksgiving, you'll still be OK. If you go into the holiday in a good frame of mind because you've been on point in the few weeks leading up to it, then even if you gain a pound or two, you won't beat yourself up over it.
