Untouchable Day

It is impossible for anyone to think deeply, analytically, and creatively without extended blocks of uninterruptible time.

My “Untouchable Day” of the week is Tuesday. I made up my mind about that seven years ago.

No appointments.
No errands.
No interruptions.

Barring a real, tried and true emergency, I don’t let anything or anyone infringe on that time.

I’m at my desk at home working on my business. Door closed.

✅ I think.

✅ I write.

✅ I create.

✅ I plan.

✅ I schedule.

✅ I assess.

✅ I unclutter.

✅ I re-organize.

✅ I catch up on administrative and clerical work.

Tuesday is Me-day.

If you don’t already have a Me-day, why not make it a priority this year?

Start with one untouchable hour a day, then try to increase it gradually to a couple blocks of you-time a week. You’ll discover that you aren’t as indispensable elsewhere as you thought.
