Ahhh, September. The air is cooler.Daytime is a little shorter.Apples are ripe.Children are back at school.Nature begins its transition from greenery into the vibrancy of crimson, yellow and orange. Many of us are feeling the yearly cyclical pull of change. It’s no coincidence that we naturally correlate Labor Day weekend as the end and beginning of a new time of the year. Just like the vegetation around us, our internal senses start to prepare our bodies for a whole new season. Some of us are welcoming it with excitement (me!), while others are having a hard time letting go of the hot and fun-filled free days of summer.Change can be difficult, but it must happen, and September can be a wonderful time to embrace change in all its forms.September marks a great and purposeful month to get started on whatever health and fitness goals that you put off, failed, or ignored over these past few months.September allows you to shed summer skins (and maybe some summer sins!), and to begin setting new goals for the last few months of the year. What are you weighting for? 🤔
