Hoping vs Doing

Are you spending time hoping or are you busy doing?

I see people daily who say, “I 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 I can do it . . . this time.”

These are folks who for years have done one quick-trick-diet-shtick after another. I always ask, “How has hoping worked out for you thus far?” If they (again) only “hope” they’ll lose weight, I suggest they better not pay me because I ain’t cheap, and they’ll piss their money away . . . again.

Only when they are ready to accept that there is 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 involved, 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 involved in making changes in their lifestyle and diet, even with a few screw-ups along the way, will they finally be successful.

But this is not just a weight loss or fitness thing.

Whether it’s about your health, business, personal relationships, careers, etc., when you 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 for things, you put your control in outside factors that might come along and shower you with good luck.

When you 𝘥𝘰 things, you take control over your own destiny and that’s a very powerful feeling, a confidence builder. It’s what propels you to keep on going until you get what you set out to achieve.

Time doesn’t change things.

Hope doesn’t change things.

Only 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 things changes things.
