The link between diet and longevity is well studied, but many seniors (or, as I prefer to call them, “seasoned citizens”) think that after a certain age, what they eat doesn’t really matter.

Well, take it from someone who 𝑖𝑠 of a certain age, what you eat 𝑑𝑜𝑒𝑠 matter.

I’m 68, slim, have no health issues (can’t remember when I last had even a minor cold), very healthy skin and hair, enjoy incredible stamina and energy which allows me to service 50-60 clients per 3-day office week plus administering to all aspects — administrative, operational, creative — of running a successful business the other 2 business days of the week, and make sure I work out with twice a week at @meantomovepersonaltraining. On top of that, I devote time and attention to responsibilities inherent in being a mom and a wife, as well as mentoring some young business associates.

Know how I do all that?

By practicing what I preach every freakin’ day.

Too many people reach the “ripe old age” of 60- or 70-something after a lifetime of bad eating habits thinking, and I’ve had this said to my face more times than I can count: “Heck, why change now?”

My answer?

“Because you may live longer. How’d ya like to do that, eh?”

Folks, “living” and “existing” aren’t the same.

The effects of an unhealthy diet and lifestyle are cumulative — yet also HIGHLY responsive to change . . . and it’s NEVER too late to live longer!

So, c’mon. Give it a shot.

What are you weighting for?
